Mossbrae Falls

This is the trail to Mossbrae Falls

On our way to Oregon for my Mother's Day gift (a weekend a way), we stopped by the Falls. We knew where to find them because we discovered them in 2005 on a camping trip with the Richmonds.

Scott is pointing at the rock the kids sat on 5 years ago. The water was way higher this trip.

This was five years ago.

We're so cute!

It had been a while since I had climbed a tree ... smiles

If you're ever near Lake Shasta, it's totally worth the mile walk to see this wall of water. In late summer you can swim here, but it's kinda cold.

Father's Day

This was before church and the kids didn't want to wait until Daddy was all
the way ready so he's sporting shorts with his dress shirt.
Too bad Daddy was really sick... but he still put on a good show.

Ready for Camp

It had been a while since I posted so I did some of my catching up below..
Meanwhile Stephi was gearing up for camp

Our 19th Anniversary

We took a little overnight trip toward the coast to celebrate, unfortunately Scotty was really sick, so we took it really easy. We strolled around the     San Francisco Zoo, ate lunch at a little Italian restaurant that we found a couple of years ago, then dropped by a Target to buy medicine and a blanket so we could go lay down at a random park for a couple hours.
Just so you know, those sunglasses are cute if I my hair is down... too bad my hair was up, I look like a fly.

Nathan's Birthday

Along with this shirt Nathan got passes for the whole family to see the premiere of the Karate Kid.
Loved the movie and had lots of fun!! By the way, Nathan is 10 now.

Memorial Day

We did an overnight camping trip at camp Far West then woke up in the morning and "hiked", walked an hour into th falls nearby. Everyone seemed to have fun except Nathan, who forgot to bring shoes on our camping trip. He switched off wearing Kimberly's flip flops, Anthony's converse (when he was nice enough to wear the flip flops), and going barefoot. Memories....... right?

Kimberly's Graduation

The sky was scary, but it did not rain. Kimberly got to sing the National Anthem
and she was amazing! We are so proud of her.
